New Year’s Eve is our biggest holiday of the year! From large corporate events to in-home parties, it’s all hands on deck at Wisconsin Balloon Decor and we are bringing you along!

December 15: Finalize orders |  Finalize orders, delivery schedule and place inventory order

While our calendar usually starts booking up 6 months in advance, we usually fit as many events in as possible for our favorite holiday. Once we are good and full, we cut off orders and start building our installation schedule. Next we order thousands of balloons

Top Colors: Black, gold, silver, white.

December 26: Inflating | As soon as our family holiday celebrations conclude, we start inflating! Because we use high quality balloons and most of what we do is air filled decor, not helium, we can inflate our balloons up to two weeks early!

Top items: balloon drops, freeform garland, marquee lights

December 29: Deliveries begin | With orders in hand, the real work begins. The studio buzzes with the sound of inflating balloons. The van is loaded with the morning's creations, ready for the first round of deliveries. Navigating through Lake Geneva and Milwaukee, we head to any venues that let us in early, usually to hang balloon drops for corporate events and weddings.

December 30: Day two of deliveries | Today is filled with more deliveries, from elegant hotel ballrooms to cozy private homes. Each venue presents its own unique challenges and rewards. We usually try to get as many installations as possible completed today to leave time for any last minute emergencies on New year’s Eve. When we are in Milwaukee we try to grab lunch at Cafe Benelux, an annual tradition.

December 31: The final countdown | With our Milwaukee balloon deliveries complete, we stay local on New year’s Eve, hitting up to 5 venues today. We also have our grab and go garlands delivered to our local pickup partners, Daniels Foods in Walworth and Piggly Wiggly in Lake Geneva, ready to be retrieved for home based celebrations. We caffeinate at Boxed and Burlap with a lavender latte to make it through the afternoon.

11:59 PM: Countdown to Midnight | While all of our events are in full swing, we welcome the new year, sound asleep in bed! After the marathon that is New Year’s Eve for a balloon company, we celebrate with takeout food and an early bedtime…except for that one time we were invited to throw the confetti in Times Square.

January 1st: Rest | Most of our decor is disposable, eliminating the need for our team to return. Venues are usually closed on the first so we plan any needed pickups on January 2nd.

Here's to another year of creating beautiful balloon decor and spreading joy through Wisconsin Balloon Decor! We are still taking bookings for this year so reach out here to get on our calendar!
